 Nicholas accepts ts instructions in all of chambers’ areas of practice.

Prior to commencing his pupillage at 9 Park Place Nicholas worked at Hugh James where he qualified as a solicitor in March 2017. Whilst at Hugh James, Nicholas gained over five years’ experience advising on commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes, debt recovery and enforcement, director and shareholder disputes, professional negligence, intellectual property disputes, defamation and insolvency work.

 In addition, Nicholas has advised on housing matters for a number of local housing associations within injunctive and possession proceedings and claims relating to disrepair.

 Nicholas also has experience of working on transactional matters, having spent time working in the Corporate and Banking Departments whilst qualifying as a solicitor.

 Nicholas was educated in Corpus Christi High School following which he attended Cardiff High School for sixth form.

 Nicholas studied law at the University of the West of England before returning to Cardiff where he undertook the Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University. He was awarded the grade of ‘Outstanding’.

 In his spare time Nicholas has undertaken voluntary work which previously included working with the Personal Support Unit, following its establishment in Cardiff Civil Justice Centre, as well as pro-bono work with Cardiff University. More recently, Nicholas was appointed as a trustee of the charity Keep Wales Tidy, a position which he held between September 2015 and May 2018.
